Recraft

A design-oriented generation and editing workspace for raster images, vector graphics, icons, illustrations, mockups, and brand-style visual assets.

Editorially reviewedVerified 2026-08-112 official or primary sources

What it is

Recraft combines image and vector generation with editing, palettes, styles, mockups, background operations, and asset management in a design-focused workspace. Official documentation separates generation controls from later editing and export steps.

Test production deliverables, not showcase images. Inspect vector structure, paths, typography, palette adherence, repeatability, edit locality, mockup accuracy, export formats, rights, and the manual cleanup required for real brand assets.

Worth evaluating for

  • Designers prototyping icons, illustrations, vectors, and campaign assets
  • Brand teams comparing style and palette control across repeated outputs
  • Creative workflows that need generation, editing, and export in one canvas

What to measure

  • Vector structure, text, palette, style, and reference fidelity
  • Edit locality, mockup accuracy, export readiness, and cleanup effort
  • Rights, privacy, collaboration, API, and brand-review requirements

Decision cautions

  • A vector export can still contain paths or typography unsuitable for production.
  • Style consistency should be tested across a set, not inferred from one asset.
  • Generated assets require legal, likeness, safety, and brand review.

Version · v4.3.4-indexnow-root-proof

Latest releases

IndexNow root-proof request compatibility

After v4.3.3, the exact root-level {key}.txt proof returned HTTP 200, but a full request carrying keyLocation still returned HTTP 403; a minimal homepage request with the same production key and no keyLocation returned HTTP 202. This release omits that field, while the automatic full run and idempotent rerun remain deployment checks.

IndexNow key-proof compatibility

Changed IndexNow verification to the official root-level {key}.txt convention after the first production notification returned HTTP 403; revalidation remains pending, while the website, sitemaps, and Bing sitemap processing are unaffected.

Bing sitemap discovery and IndexNow change notifications

Prepared canonical sitemap discovery for Bing and added automatic IndexNow change notifications while keeping segmented sitemaps authoritative and making no claim that a notified URL has been crawled or indexed.
